The term “outsourcing” lately became much more famous. You could hear it practically everywhere – on both informal and formal business meetings, on various workshops and so on. I believe that many people actually are aware what outsourcing means.

Surely, not all of them. Probably, a lot of you might also say that outsourcing enables to transfer various activities to a third business. Thanks to that, it is possible to put bigger focus and to concentrate more on the key business.

Nevertheless, I have an impression that many people associate outsourcing mainly with rather basic activities. For example, when they think about outsourcing they normally think about very basic IT services that allows using IT professionals just when they face some type of IT problem, instead of employing those proffessionals in the firm all the time as regular employees. I must say that this type of thinking may be really misleading. Not just because outsourcing could offer so far more than solely helping to avoid employing workers directly. It also allows you to get an access to specialists that you could never afford to hire otherwise. But it is not the area I would like to focus in this really short text. There are many others texts describing positive as well as negative aspects of using outsourcing.

In this article I would like to emphasize that outsourcing is so a lot more than just simple IT services. I believe it began from that level earlier. But as this field grows, outsourcing firms started to be highly specialized in concrete fields of interest. For instance, if your firm looks for a android development activities, this is possible to use outsourcing for this activity- read examples. Nonetheless, as such process is rather complex, in such case we would rather describe this as managed services- learn more. This still can be considered as some kind of outsourcing. Nevertheless, it is much more developed. What is the reason? Because as it was mentioned, typical outsourcing is very frequently associated with lower cost and potential savings. Managed services go far beyond those aspects.

Managed services includes many, rather complex services at the same time, for instance also these connected with managing the project. Because of that, you could have well educated as well experienced professionals working on developing and implementing complex project for your company.
